Milie Rinehart

Milie Edith P. Rinehart, 96, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Milie was born September 26, 1924 in Saluda, SC. to the late Isaac Edward Pow and Farrah Mae Jennings Pow. She was a graduate of Sardis School and Saluda High School. Milie retired from John Hancock Life Insurance. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce, SC. Milie enjoyed game shows and gardening but most importantly, she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Mendel L. Rinehart, Sr., her son , Ronald E. Rinehart, two brothers, Frank Pow and Fred Pou, three sisters, Allison Pauline Pow Simons, Mary Lou P. Merchant and Ellie Maude Pugh Bartley.

Survivors include children, Mendel "Chip" L. Rinehart, Jr. (Vickie), Michelle Rinehart Joiner (Erwin); five grandchildren, Kyrie Rinehart, Stephanie Rinehart, Jeffery Joiner (Heather), Ryan Joiner (Ashley), Chris Joiner; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Abigail Joiner, and Landon Joiner.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Amedisys of Greenville, SC House Calls of Greenville, and especially Lexington Community Hospice House.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Eddie Coakley officiating.
