Mimmie Gable

Mimmie Etter Rowe Gable, 67, died Monday, January 15, 2024 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Connelly "Bud" Rowe and Minnie Bell Salters Rowe, she was the wife of Charlie Monroe Gable, Sr. Mrs. Gable was a homemaker and was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church in Gilbert and attended Open Bible Church. She adored her grandchildren, loved to fish and being on the boat.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie Monroe Gable, Sr., a son, Charlie Gable, Jr. (Kathryn) of Elloree, a daughter, Jennifer Hatcher (Jason) of Saluda, two sisters, Rachel Davis of Ward and Lois Smith of Batesburg, three grandchildren, Andrew Gable, Dawson Hatcher and Emmy Hatcher and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gable was preceded in death by two sisters, Mimmie Taylor and Pauline Rowe and a brother, Rex "BoBo" Rowe.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Open Bible Church with Rev. Ron Bennett and Rev. Mark Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church social hall.
