Miriam Rushton
Miriam Dora Turner Rushton, 95, died Friday, December 4, 2020 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Ben Turner and Mamie Harrison Turner, she was the wife of the late Johnnie Belton Rushton. Mrs. Rushton was a homemaker and was a member of Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Freda Jones (James) of Ninety Six, a son, Ben Rushton of Ninety Six, four grandchildren, Kristi vanHorn (Ryan), Ben Rushton, Jr., Kacie Rushton and James Allen Jones and a great-grandchild, Gabriella vanHorn.
Mrs. Rushton was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Brock officiating.
Memorials may be made to Saluda Nursing Center, P.O. Box 398, Saluda, SC 29138.
