Nadine Richardson
Nadine Mitchell Richardson, 85, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Prisma Health Richland.
Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late James DuBose "J.D." Mitchell and Janie Barnes Mitchell. Mrs. Richardson graduated from Hollywood High School in 1953 and was retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday school class.
Surviving are four daughters, Donna Neel of Batesburg, Jana Hodges of NC, Renee Crisp of Hartwell, GA and Vonda Ridge of Leesville, a son, Ricky Richardson of Newberry, eight grandchildren, Ryan Coleman, Jon Manning Coleman, Ashton Young, CeCe Stribble, Steffen Richardson, Michael Ridge, Nolan Ridge and Kendall Ridge and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by a brother, James E. "Jimmy" Mitchell, two sisters, Norma Nell Kirby and Gloria Eidson Hipp and a granddaughter, Clatie Stribble.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family and invited guests.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church, 340 Hickory Grove Road, Saluda, SC 29138.
