Olin Lee Bledsoe, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont surrounded by his family.

Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Olin Lee Bledsoe, Sr., and Louvenia Miller Bledsoe, and the husband of Carol Joann Brissie Bledsoe. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that instilled in him the values of discipline, service, and commitment that he carried throughout his life. Mr. Lee became a well-known member of the local business community as the proud owner and operator of Lee's Carpet and Vinyl in Edgefield, SC. For many years, he worked diligently to provide quality service and build lasting relationships with his customers. Later in life, he continued his dedicated work ethic as a member of the maintenance staff at Saluda Nursing Center, where he was respected and appreciated by both staff and residents alike until his retirement. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Mr. Lee was a man who truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for golf and fishing, and spent many joyful hours outdoors. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored beyond measure

Surviving alongside his wife are, daughter, Heather Sanders (Kyle) of Murfreesboro, TN, a son, Trey Bledsoe of Johnston, three grandchildren, Madison Sanders, Ellis Sanders, and Parker Bledsoe, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Patsy Brissie of Greenwood.

Mr. Lee is preceded in death by four siblings, Marvin Bledsoe, Shirley Norris, Jean Chrisley, and Carrie Lee Miller.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
