Oscar Minick
Oscar Eugene Minick, 74, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Saluda County, he was the son of the late Joseph Carson and Mattie Theo Hendrix Minick, and widow of Wanda Lee Matlock Minick. Mr. Minick served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was retired from Austin Industries, DSM Chemicals. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Williston, as well as a member of the NRA and the American Legion.
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine Seigler (Charlie) of New Ellenton, SC, and two grandchildren, Kelly Wright (Jamie) of Windsor, SC , and Taylor Seigler of New Ellenton, SC.
Mr. Minick is preceded in death by two sisters, T. Carlene Minick and Nellie Jane Minick.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery with Connor Walker and Bob Shealy officiating.
