Patricia Sue Edwards Storey, 82, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Beverly Byrd and Effie Maggie Mitchell Edwards, she was the wife of William Stanford Storey and was first married to the late Johnny Lewis Edwards. Mrs. Storey worked in textiles and was a homemaker. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, William Stanford Storey, children, Beverly Cruz (Angel) of Saluda, Van Edwards (Pam) of Saluda, Julie Crummie (Charles) of Saluda, Johnette Devore (Jody) of Spartanburg, Barbara Hudgens (Myron) of Lewisville, NC, Chris Edwards of Johnston and Amanda Black (Scotty) of Saluda, step-children, Angela Storey of Newberry, Kim Smith of Saluda, Terry Storey (Dorothy) of Easley, Robin Devore (Billy) of Saluda, three brothers, Richard Edwards of Georgia, "Sonny" Edwards of Ward and James Edwards of Greer, a sister, Diane Thompson of Saluda, a son in-law, Benjie Belcher of Saluda, twenty-seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Storey was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Edwards Belcher, a daughter in-law, Susan Hyman Edwards, a grandson, Michael Vincent Edwards, a brother, Randy Edwards and a sister, Faye Kyzer.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Red Bank Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Romines officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
