Patrick L. "Pat" Rodgers passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2016. Born in Batesburg, S.C. on December 1, 1942 to the late Carson Michael Rodgers and Virginia Forrest Rodgers. He was the husband of Nancy Kay Keisler Rodgers.

A graduate of Saluda High School where he loved playing sports for the Saluda Tigers. He was owner of Rodgers' Fertilizer Company in Saluda, S.C. for 41 years. He was a charter member of Saluda Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and other committees. He was a member of the Saluda Young Farmers for many years. He loved sports-watching and playing. The joys of his life were his family, especially his four grandboys and his church family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kay Keisler Rodgers, a son, Michael Patrick (Tina), four grandboys, Ward and Patrick Burrus, Chase and Cade Rodgers and a brother, Michael Lewie Rodgers (Kay).

He was pre-deceased by daughters, Melissa Rodgers Burrus and Leigh Ann Rodgers and granddaughter, Leah Grace Burrus.

The family will receive friends at the Rodgers' home, 761 Ridge Spring Hwy., Saluda, S.C., Sunday from 2 until 7 p.m. and also immediately following the service at the church.

The celebration of Pat's life will be at Saluda Baptist Church on Wheeler Circle in Saluda, on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
