Pauline Miller Lester's Obituary
Pauline Miller Lester, 88, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late George Shepherd and Annie Lee Goff Miller, she was the wife of the late George Michael Lester. Mrs. Lester was a graduate of Ridge Spring High school class of 1945. She was a former textile employee and a secretary bookkeeper for P & O Oil Company and Farm Bureau. She was a member of Corinth Lutheran Church , where she served on the church council and various committees. She also taught Sunday school, was a choir member and a member of WELCA.
Surviving are a son, Michael Keith Lester of Saluda, a brother, George Fred Miller of Ward and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Haskell Miller and two sisters, Edith Carolin Turner and Grace Erona Asbill.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Corinth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Corinth Lutheran Church, 3178 Denny Hwy., Prosperity, SC 29127.
