Peggy Joyce Ruff Shealy's Obituary
Peggy Joyce Ruff Shealy, 76, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Robert and Vivian Hendrix Ruff, she was the wife of the late Edrick Logan "Eddie" Shealy. Mrs. Shealy was a homemaker and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ninety Six.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Riley Matthews (Houston) of Ninety Six, a granddaughter, Brittany Carter, a grandson, John Carter, two step-grandchildren, Hannah Matthews and Geordyn Matthews, a brother, Robert Ruff, Jr. (Betty Joyce) of Prosperity and two sisters, Betty Ann Fields (Joe) and Lee Smith (Russell) both of Saluda.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2226 Denny Hwy., Saluda, SC 29138.
