Phoebe Hendrix

Phoebe Bedenbaugh Hendrix, 95, died Monday, June 26, 2017 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Mark Boyd and Mattie Pearl Goff Bedenbaugh, she was the wife of the late James Henry Hendrix. Mrs. Hendrix retired from the Saluda Nursing Center and the Dietary Department. She was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church and Mannie Black Sunday school class.

Surviving are a son, G. Lamont Hendrix of Saluda, a daughter, Portia Farnacci of Saluda, three grandchildren, Kim Childers (James), James Farnacci (Jennifer) and Chris Farnacci and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Nazareth United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Cheezem officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
