Raymond Fulmer

Raymond Leroy Fulmer, Jr. 90, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Leroy and Gladys Padgett Fulmer, he was the husband of Donnis Mitchell Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer was a business owner and a truck driver. He retired from Motor Convoy and then retired again from Shore Livestock. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of the home, Donnis Mitchell Fulmer, a daughter, Marlynn Alewine (Stanley), a brother, Wayne Fulmer, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Fulmer, two granddaughters, Jessica Alewine and Kristen Quarles (Robbie) and three great-granddaughters, Chandler and Graysn Quarles and Karsyn Alewine, all of Saluda.

Mr. Fulmer was preceded in death by a brother, W.M. Fulmer and a sister, Evon Maw.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Michael Bell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family encourages social distancing.
