Reba Bodie

Reba Riddle Bodie, 92, passed away February 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Saluda and the daughter of the late William Alonzo Riddle and Arrie Bell Crouch Riddle, she was the wife of the late Frederick Franklin Bodie. Mrs. Bodie was an accounting administrator with Gunnells Marine and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Gwen Gunnells (Barney) of Ninety-Six, Julia Rankin (Ashley) of Saluda, a son Otha Bodie (Abbie) of Saluda, four grandchildren, Nikki Bodie, Cheyenne Bodie, Kirksi Bodie, and Arrie Bodie, and five great-grandchildren, Tracen, RaeLee, Dayson, Haisleigh, and Selah.

Mrs. Bodie is preceded in death by six brothers, B.O. "Dick" Riddle, C. C. "Pap" Riddle, V.O. "Vip" Riddle, Otha "Rock" Riddle, Lewis Riddle, and Elmer " Pebble" Riddle, and four sisters, Connie Smith, Ora Shealy, Juanita Shealy, and Oline Dozier.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 11, at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Mitchell officiating at 3:00 p.m. Family will receive friends before services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mayson Memorial Cemetery.
