Reda Eargle

Reda Bernell Oswald Eargle, 93, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Lexington County and a daughter of the late Julian Zebulon and Daisy Crout Oswald, she was the widow of Charlie Walker Eargle. She was a retired seamstress at Saluda Shirt Plant and member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandra R. Unger of Chappells, one son, Eric Lee Eargle of Saluda, an adopted daughter, Susan Eargle Landry of Bristol, GA, two brothers, three sisters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eargle is preceded in death by three sons, Charles Julian Eargle, Steven Lynnwood Eargle and Brooks Walker Eargle, a daughter, Reda Donnell Eargle, two grandchildren, Scott Zebulon Drader and Daisy Eargle, two brothers and four sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
