Robert H. Jenkins, 86, passed away at home Sunday, August 7, 2016.

Born in Walker County, Georgia and a son of the late James O. and Alice Day Jenkins, he was the husband of Clara Hollingsworth Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a retired textile worker.

Surviving are his wife, Clara Hollingsworth Jenkins; sons, John Jenkins (Judy), Charles Jenkins (Doris), David Jenkins (Susie) and Anthony Thompson; daughters, Stella Kilgore (Robert) and Margie Lawton (Tom); one stepson, Tim Terry (Donna), 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by a son, Robert Grady Jenkins; a daughter, Elizabeth Stinnett and grandson, Heath Terry.

The family will receive friends from 3 til 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 9th, at Calvary Holiness Tabernacle Church. The funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Carles Fincannon and Mark Fincannon officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
