Rosa Nelly Pliego, 37, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at her residence.

Born in Santa Anna, CA, and a daughter of Salvador Molina Pliego and Teresita Hernandez Pliego, she was the wife of Jose Louis Mercado. Mrs. Pliego was a training coordinator with Louis Rich in Newberry.

Surviving are her husband, Jose Louis Mercado, her father and mother, Salvador Molina Pliego and Teresita Hernandez Pliego of Saluda, five sons, Marco Mercado, Leandro Mercado, Paul Mercado, Jesse Mercado and Jose Mercado, Jr. all of the home, four daughters, Sydney Mercado, Aieshia Mercado, Patricia Mercado and Dorothy Mercado all of the home, a brother, Jesus Pliego of Batesburg, two sisters, Yerylen Pliego and Sophie Pliego both of Saluda, paternal grandparents, Martin Pliego and Guadalupe Pliego of Guerrero, Mexico and maternal grandparents, Tomas Hernandez and Vicenta Santana of Guerrero, Mexico.

A prayer service will be held 7 p.m., Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 at Little Angels Memorial Park.
