Johnnie Rudolph "Termite" Minick, 76, died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at National Health Care in Laurens.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Burr Cooper Minick and Annie Lona Black Minick Bedenbaugh, he was the husband of Sandra Lee Sudduth Minick. Mr. Minick was retired from the South Carolina National Guard, 122nd Engineer Company in Saluda after serving 20 years and was retired from Piggly Wiggly after 34 years. He was a member of Emory United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lee Sudduth Minick, a son, Burton Lee Minick (Kelly) of Saluda, a daughter, Jamie Dawn Minick Field (Jeff) of Laurens, two sisters, Annelle Ridgell of Saluda and Brenda Rickenbacker of Greenwood and four grandchildren, Brandon Field, Sara Beth Field, John Parker Field, and Sadie Minick.

A Memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Emory United Methodist Church with Rev. Jackie Connelly and Rev. Joyce Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
