Sandra Mitchell Collard

Sandra Jean Mitchell Collard, 82, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at her home.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Kenneth Walton Mitchell and Mary Pauline Wightman Mitchell, she was the wife of the late Charles Herbert "Chuck" Collard. Mrs. Sandra was a retired paralegal for the Solicitors Office. She was a member of the Friends of the Library Book Club, the Garden Club, the "Knit Wits" and Butler United Methodist Church, where she served as the treasurer for many years.

Surviving are her three daughters, Dawn Fisher and Sheri Coleman (Ted) both of Saluda and Julie Chapman (Larry) of Pickens, a son, Jay Collard (Lynne) of Buffalo, NY, a sister, Debra Corley of Saluda, ten grandchildren, Cassie Ansel, Lynzie Nebel, Katie Hodges, Mitchell Collard, Rachel Long, Allie Ring, Seth Collard, Olivia Rothell, Lucas Chapman and Kyle Fisher and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorials service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Butler United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Huggins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.
