Sandra Elaine Salter Coleman, 74, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Laurens County and a daughter of the late Curtis Holloway and Louise Nancy Russell Salter, she was the wife of the late Mat Abney Coleman, Sr. Mrs. Coleman was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with the Whitten Center. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church and was a former Den Mother with the Cub Scouts.

Surviving are four sons, Mat Abney Coleman, Jr. (Tommie Ann) of Johnston, Jack Curtis Coleman of Saluda, David Eugene Coleman (Shawn Pope) of Ft. Mill and Mark Russell Coleman (Mindy) of Raleigh, NC, a sister, Kathy Goss of Clinton, four grandchildren Lindsey Gunter (Cody), Alexander Coleman, Christina Coleman and Abby-Parker Coleman and a great-granddaughter, Angela Camden Gunter.

Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by a brother, Don R. Salter.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
