SeDeris Shealy Miller
SeDeris Nettie Shealy Miller, 88, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Leesville and a daughter of the late Kenneth Shealy and Lessie Smith Shealy, she was the wife of the late George Fred Miller. She retired after over 40 years of dedicated service with Reigel Textile. She was a faithful member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and found joy in being outdoors, tending to her flowers, working crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, and walking with her neighbor.
Surviving are a son, Freddie L. Miller (Donna) of Leesville, a daughter, Angela M. Fulbright (Tommy) of Greenville, five sisters, Shirley Leaphart, June Amick, Annelle Bedenbaugh, Sandra Taylor and Brenda Adcock, three grandchildren, Krystle M. Willingham (David), Kyle S. Miller (Katelynn) and James R. Bush, II and three great-grandchildren, Zackery D. Evans, Myles W. Willingham and Shep E. Miller.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason M. Bush, three sisters, Marilyn Shealy, DeLancye "Lannie" Shealy and Betty Barnes and a brother, Kenneth H. Shealy, Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Vickie Nye for the love, care, and compassion she showed to our mother.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Good Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Reggie Cruse officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
