Shirley DeLoach Hyler, 82, died Friday, March 29, 2019 at Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood County and a daughter of the late Ivy Wesley DeLoach and Agnes Livingston DeLoach, she was the wife of the late Malcolm Hyler. Mrs. Hyler was retired from Greenwood Mills - Ninety-Six Plant and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the choir.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna H. Rearden (Joey) of Greenwood, two grandchildren, Nicole Bowen (John) and Jessica Rearden both of Greenwood and a great-grandson, Rivers Bowen.

Mrs. Hyler was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald DeLoache and a sister, Vivian West.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Hillary Taylor and Rev. Dan Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
