Stanley Espy Dorn, 83, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Edgefield County and a son of the late Stanley and Bernice Prescott Dorn, he was the husband of Mary Ann Fowler Steele Dorn, and was first married to the late Margaret Nelene Ivie Dorn. Mr. Dorn was a US Army veteran and was a retired Resident Maintenance Engineer with the South Carolina Department of Transportation. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Fowler Steele Dorn, five children, Charlene D. Blanchard (William "Bill") of Grovetown, GA, Stephen Dorn (Melody), Thomas E. Dorn, Sr. (Debra), Stanley K. Dorn (Debra) and Kenneth D. Dorn (DeAnna) all of Saluda, two stepchildren, Chuck Steele (Denise) of Greenwood and Tommy Steele (Emily) of Saluda, a sister, Mary Ellen Dorn Chalker (Talmadge) of Gibson, GA, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Red Bank Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
