Tamela "Tammy" Renee Franklin Adkins, 63, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at her home.
Born in Newberry and the daughter of the late Chevis E. and Allene Stribble Franklin, she was the wife of Donald Morris Adkins. She worked in Finance and was a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church in Newberry.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Morris Adkins of Saluda, one son, Benjamin Amick (Gayle) of Newberry, one daughter, Yalena "Lena" Amick of Saluda, one sister, Tanya Rose (Richard) of Kingsland, GA, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646, or American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
