After retirement, as long as his health allowed, he and his wife enjoyed camping with friends. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at Ramey Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 6:00p.m until 8:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church or to the Saluda County Historical Society. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and personnel at Lexington Medical Center for their kind care and Lisa Berry and Allyson Martin for their unfailing help while he was at home.
