Troy Michael Crookshanks, 35, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, GA.

Born in Edgefield County, and son of Michael Blackmon and the late Joetta Crookshanks Shealy, he was engaged to Melissa Gentry Corbett. He was a painter and employed by McGee Home Builders in Augusta, GA.

Surviving are his fiancé, Melissa Gentry Corbett, a daughter, Christina Crookshanks of the home, three sons, Tristen, Jonathan, and Nathaniel Crookshanks, all of the home, a granddaughter, Natalie Faith Corbett of Saluda, his father, Michael Blackmon and stepmother, Rhonda T. Blackmon, three sisters, Tammy Hunter, Rhonda Lynn Turner and Rachel Marie Schultz, four brothers, Rodger Blackmon, Wally Fuller, Dale Hastings, and Jamie Hatcher, three nephews, Kandon Dale and Joshua Landon Hastings of the home and Chase Hunter, and a niece, Amy Alexis Corbett.

A graveside service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Spann Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Jerry Brunson officiating. Friends may call on the family at the residence.
