Vanoy Miller Clark, 85, of Saluda died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born on April 30, 1933 in Saluda County, she was a daughter of Lucille Black Miller and the late Clarence Wilbur Miller.

She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church as well as a member of The Saluda Cattleman's Association.

Vanoy was an extremely hard worker. In addition to being a homemaker, she previously co-owned and operated Clark's Custom Hauling and Logging Company and currently owned and operated High Point Farms alongside her husband.

In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with her family. Known as a humble and patient woman, she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, Clinton "Clinty" Clark; daughters, Marilyn Clark Barnes (Wayne) of Batesburg, Janice Clark Gardner (Terry), and Didi Clark Rankin (Rusty Blackwell) all of Saluda; granddaughters, Lacy Coleman Vaughn (Eric), Loren Gardner Shealy (Grant), and Whitney Gardner Price (Josh); step-grandchildren, Shay Barnes, Dusty Blackwell, and Billy Blackwell (Damia); nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Rayford Miller (Kathryn) and Raymond Miller (Betty) all of Batesburg; sister, Nelda Miller Rikard (Dick) of Leesville; sister-in-law, Mary Miller of Batesburg; two nieces; six nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and a brother, Ollie Theron "Noot" Miller.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sardis Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday at Sardis Baptist Church by Rev. Michael Bell and Rev. Burton Campbell.

Following the service burial will be held at Furman Matthews Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Barnes, Terry Gardner, Rusty Blackwell, Eric Vaughn, Grant Shealy, and Josh Price.

The family thanks Saluda Nursing Center Staff and Dr. William Sawyer for their care and a special thank you to Nichole Culbreath and Sharon Springs for your many years of loving and exceptional care.
