VeNelle Cromer Corley, 67, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community in Laurens.

A native of Saluda County , she was the daughter of the late George Vernon and Mae Scurry Cromer. Ms. Corley was retired payroll and benefits coordinator with Saluda School District I. She was a member of Saluda Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing bridge and traveling with her friends.

Surviving are her children, Laurie Corley Seawright of Clinton, Matthew Glenn (Laura) Corley of Saluda and Amanda Venelle Corley of McCormick and six grandchildren, Maecy Seawright, Brooks Seawright, Heidi Corley, Veronica Corley, Hamp Corley and Ella Corley.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Tuesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her son, Matthew Corley, 842 Butler Rd., Saluda, SC.

Funeral services will be 1 pm, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
