Vera Harmon Buffington, 90, wife of the late Hammond Buffington, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 4 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, visitation following the service. Family will be at the home of Joyce Shults.

Mrs. Buffington was born in Saluda County and was the daughter of the late Daniel B. Harmon and Lorene Ruff Harmon. She was a homemaker and a retired dairy farmer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Margaret Bedenbaugh (Monk Lake), Joyce Shults (Milburn) and Cathy Stone (Arnold) all of Saluda. Two brothers: Horace Harmon and Larry Harmon (Ann). Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Three very special caregivers Dawn Orr, Dot Wideman and Minnie Coleman.
