Vera Audrey Willis Edwards, 69, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in McCormick, SC and a daughter of the late Joe Austin Willis and Rosa Lee Floyd Willis, she was the wife of Louis Edwards and was first married to the late Jimmy "Jimbo" Howard. Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Jon Howard (Alecia) of Saluda, a daughter, Questa Bradley of Saluda, a step daughter, Tonya Harmon of McCormick, six grandchildren, Kylee Howard, Eric Howard, Jon-Austin Bradley, Bo Bradley, Bryer Bradley and Andrew Harmon, one brother, Jimmy Willis of McCormick and four sisters, Lou Jennings of McCormick, Hettie Ramsey of Plum Branch, Rosalyn McKinney of Epworth and Shirley Bowick of McCormick.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by a son, Austin Howard and two brothers, Joe Willis and Donnie Adams.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, July 21, 2023, at 333 Pine Grove Rd Saluda, SC 29138.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
