Virginia Franklin Mack, 100, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Cowarts, AL on September 26, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Vince Franklin and Della Stewart Franklin and wife of the late Ulrich Singleton Mack. Mrs. Mack worked many years at the Saluda County Courthouse as the Clerk of Court and was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. She had a passion for crossword puzzles and enjoyed the challenge of finding the perfect word to fit each clue.

She is survived by her son, Robert Singleton Mack (Cheryl) of Prosperity and sister, Ouida Reid of Auburndale, FL.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Brad Mack and brother-in-law, Jim Reid.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Shiloh Methodist Church by Rev. Bob Huggins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the church social hall.
