Vivian Bradley Scurry, 90, died September 30, 2015 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late, Coke D. and Eva Goodman Bradley, she was the wife of the late Wilbur Wardell Scurry. Mrs. Scurry was retired from Monsanto and volunteered at Saluda Nursing Center. She was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church and a member of the Antique Teenagers.

Surviving are three sons, Harry B. Rude, Fred Rude and Steve Scurry all of Saluda, a daughter, Suzanne Greenhill of Snowcamp, NC, a sister, Lois Stancel of Clearwater, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Scurry was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Bob" Rude, three sisters, Ethel Brown, Irene Duffie and Lucille Gibson, four brothers, J.W., Virgil, James and Harold Bradley and a grandson, Larry Rude.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Zoar United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
