Obituary

Wadine Fain Haltiwanger, 87, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Wilkes County, GA and a daughter of the late Charlie Thomas Fain, Sr. and Maggie Hogan Fain, she was the wife of the late Gordon Forrest "Jack" Haltiwanger. Mrs. Haltiwanger was a retired supervisor with Riegel in Johnston and a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church and the WMU.

Surviving are two sons, L. Forrest Haltiwanger (Hilda) of Johnston and Gordon L. Haltiwanger of Johnston, two daughters, Ethel H. Trombley (James A. Adams) of Beaufort and Carol H. McDowell (James) of Johnston, a brother, Wayne Fain (Shirley) of Ft. Mill, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Haltiwanger was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie W. Bartley, four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Harmon and Rev. Paul Volpitto officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
