William Harris "Billy" Baxter Crawford, 48, died Monday, October 15, 2015 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Ashville, NC.

Born in Panama City, FL and a son of the late Carol and Don Crawford , he was the husband of Deana Cockrell Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a graduate of Orangeburg Technical College as a Respiratory Therapist and was loved by his patients. He loved playing World of Warcraft and was a good hearted, awesome family man who loved his family dearly.

Surviving are his wife, Deana Cockrell Crawford, his father and step-mother, Butch and Kathy Baxter of Aiken, a son, Joshua Crawford (Ashleigh Gallegos) of Irmo, two daughters, Samantha Spires (Brandon) of Batesburg and Courtney Crawford (Scott Carothers) of Columbia, two step-children, Dustin Enlow of Batesburg and Alison Enlow of Columbia, a sister, Shannon Meggs (Brian) of Gainesville, GA, two grandchildren, Morgan and Aiden Spires and two nephews, Sawyer Meggs and Jay Crawford (Carley Childers) both of Gainesville, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday evening at the home of Billy and Deana Crawford.

A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rodney Harrison and Keith Hennant providing eulogy and Gina White, musician.
