William "Dennis" King passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Bethune, SC, he was the son of the late Bill and Margaret West King, and husband of Daisy Belle Stoudemayer King. He was a retired draftsman for Kline Iron and Steel and a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. Mr. King served in the Air National Guard at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, as well as being a Mason.

Surviving are his wife, Daisy Belle Stoudemayer King, three sons, Michael Boatwright, Andy Boatwright (Traci) and Terry Boatwright (Robin), three daughters, Melinda Bedenbaugh (Nolan), Jennifer Leahy (Amy Sullivan) and Tamra Thompson (Timothy), 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. King is predeceased by a brother, Maxcy King.

A graveside service will be held at 4:30 PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Good Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Timothy Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the cemetery.
