Obituary

William Murray Livingston, 82, son of Maggie Fulmer Roton Livingston and William Thaddeus Livingston, passed away at White Oak Manor nursing home in Newberry, following that long goodbye of Alzheimer degradation. Murray Livingston, a long time member of Saluda Church of God, is survived by a brother James Elzie Livingston of Newberry, and predeceased siblings, half sisters and brothers: Sisters, Helen McCormick, Evelyn Boozer, Brothers, J.W. Roton, Joseph Roton, William Roton-Matthews, Ernest Roton-Black and Clarence Roton-Fulmer.

Murray is a fully ordained minister of the Gospel by The Independent Churches of God Universal, Crusade Chapel and Old Fashion Holiness Church. He lived on North Main Street downtown Saluda for over 60 years and was last employed before retirement after 18 years of service at Milliken & Company in Saluda. He was a "Real Son" of Sons of Spanish-American War Veterans and Compatriot of the National and SC Sons of the American Revolution, charter member The Col. Philemon Waters Chapter in Newberry.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m.., Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Saluda Church of God with Rev. Charles Houston officiating. Interment will follow in Silverstreet Lutheran Church Cemetery.
