William David Powell
William David Powell, 74, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home.
Born in Saluda County and a son of the late William Powell and Louise Cockrell Way, he was the husband of Sharon Lisa Bouknight Powell. Mr. Powell served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retired welder and Pipefitter. He was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church in Batesburg.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Lisa Bouknight Powell, a daughter, Tabetha Powell of Saluda, two sisters, Joyce Babin and Dianne Coleman (Herb) both of Columbia and four grandchildren, Brooke Adams, Travis Powell, Bridget Rhodes and Trevor Price.
No services will be held at this time.
