Willie Rowe, Jr., 75, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his residence.

Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Willie and Frankie Rowe. Mr. Rowe was a mechanic and a gardener.

Surviving are his stepmother, Pauline Rowe of Saluda, six brothers, Pete Rowe, J.D. Rowe, Tommy Rowe, Scott Rowe, M.L. Rowe and Frank Rowe all of Saluda, eight sisters, Dorothy Rowe, Minnie McCary, Shirley Rowe, Polly Derrick, Nancy Watson and Patricia Ann Hensley all of Saluda and Barbara Price and Susie Preston both of Gilbert, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul, Roy, Harold, Marvin and Larry Rowe.

A Graveside service will be held 2 PM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
