Wilson Carlisle Berry, 80, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, S.C.

Born in Saluda County, SC and a son of the late Sidney Berry and Lillie Hazel Berry, he was the husband of Willie Ruth Rodgers Berry. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant and a member of Saluda First Pentecostal Church.

Surviving Mr. Berry are his wife, Willie Ruth Rodgers Berry, two daughters, Brenda K. Berry of the home and Connie R. Patterson (Don) of Saluda, 2 grandchildren, Jessica Nichols (Heath) and Kayla Riley (Zack) along with 1 great grandson, Emerson Carlisle Nichols.

Mr. Berry was preceded in death by 4 brothers, G. W. Berry, Sr., Clyde Berry, Wilbur Berry and Herman Berry and 2 sisters, Lizzie Lybrand and Doris Rodgers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017, at Saluda First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Louie Murray and Rev. Larry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 PM in the church social hall. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
